When best friends, Jess and Mare, became mothers, they struggled with the disconnect between wanting to live with intention and their inherent need to keeping up with jam-packed daily schedules. Over time, they came to the realization that if they wanted to live purposefully, they'd have to clear out space and time in their minds, hearts and homes to gather with their families. Inspired by the idea of creating a mindful and meaningful environment for their children, Jess and Mare designed a leather mat that gave them a literal space for them to gather and thus GATHRE was born.
